Just fascinating to see Blair, a man whose reputation was ruined by the Iraq war, advocate joining a war that is exponentially stupider and more chaotic. How is it possible to learn nothing from the worst mistake of your life?
Starmer’s position is entirely consistent with what he wrote about Iraq in 2003, a fact of enormous inconvenience to just about everybody currently criticising it. Happily for them, just like the entire bloody Chilcot Inquiry it is apparently very easy to ignore.
I’m sure the Super Bowl half time sure was great but at Watford they once had a police dog display team and one of the dogs curled one out in the centre circle.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."
Not my finest moment.
That said not my worst either unfortunately!
Wandered very drunk round San Francisco and was completely lost so jumped in a taxi and mumbled enough to head on the right direction.
Not sure how long we went but not massively far and remembering seeing the distinctive awning of the hotel and shouting to stop!!
It could have got loads of kids interested in school projects revolving around War Child not just on the music side of things but the charity, politically, historical.
There was not 1 mention of this in classes, no assembly talking about the charity (we were a Catholic school) nothing.
My best guess is they didn't want anyone getting ideas that anything other than a normal 9-5 was an appropriate career.
I feel this lack of talking missed on a couple of points.
One of our deputy head teachers' son had helped come up with this brand new charity album called help.
Now the School was very concerned about appearing good in results it felt less like they were interested in us as kids.
So given the new Help album is in the news I figured I'd share a story to explain how shite my High School was...
September '95 age 15 starting final year lots of music fans in our year and the below a few bands around too.
Dear trump,
You're a desperate loser.
You took a guy's Purple Heart.
You lied about Michigan's "Man of the Year" award.
You took Machado's Nobel Peace Prize.
It's a participation trophy.
On Obama's worst day, and your best,
he will ALWAYS be better.
The world laughs at you.
Pathetic.
When you receive a parcel the delivery guy doesn't care what you write when signing your name on his little touch screen tablet. I've been drawing a cock-and-balls for years now, occasionally I'll add pubes, glans, and jizz.
if Nigel Farage is lazy enough to record a message for paedophile Ian Watkins in exchange for money, what else might he do for money without thinking too hard
The MJF promo in Manchester is as good as I remember it being watching it live.

Watching Tom Petty in the BBC2 music program and remembering my (very very late) discovering TP via Gaslight Anthem and the amazing feeling of discovering new music.
Couple that with seeing Madness for the first time last night in Manchester which was amazing.
Music is such an amazing thing!
As a part time F1 fan, given the standings going into the last race it feels better for me Lando being P2 and Oscar being P3.
There's no chance of a problem with Max trying to catch him and tagging him and hopefully a bit of protection from Oscar from the same behind!
Just needs a reliable car!
you lost me at figgy but brought me right back with pudding
Me on a candlelit vigil for AIDS in 1987.
Me last week. Looking pretty healthy for 58 (28 years living with HIV).
I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

FTR v Ricky Steamboat on Blood and Guts is brilliant.
So obvious where it was going but still fun when it gets there.

Vincent: You know what the funniest thing about Europe is?
Jules: What?
V: It's the little differences. You know what they call Zootopia?
J: They don't call it Zootopia?
V: No, they wouldn't know what the fuck Zootopia is.
J: Then what do they call it?
V: They call it Zootropolis.
J: Goddamn!
Idly wondering if the solution to racists 'wanting their country back' is for all countries to build theme parks where the bigots have to go and live, where technology is reversed 50 years and they have it all as they think they remember. Then tourists can come and pay to look at them.
Imagine TV News covering this farmer protest - banned, but turned up anyway, grinding capital to a halt - if it were about Palestine or climate change, not inheritance tax. Would they present protesters as heroes? Or showing "I need to get to work" and "me auld mam missed her hip operation" voxpops?
A "red beret in Waterford" moment.
So hearing Off the Ball talk about top Scotland goals, going for 5 is difficult, these stand out to me.
But these have to be in the debate:
Archie 1978 (obvs)
McFadden
Tonight's 3
Leigh Griffiths 2 v England
McCoist v Switzerland Euro 98
Burley v Norway 98 (good finish and gave some hope!
Same think that was after the 3rd!
Yeah those balls into the box at 3-2 with minutes left were worrying!
