So it’s been 9 months since I last looked at the amount of mins under 21’s are getting in the SPFL Premiership. Still not a good picture but I have added a 2nd page to highlight which clubs are also loaning out players for mins. Should the clubs be mandated by the league to give a minimum amount of
I feel these two options would be good. Kacper Trelowski has had an outstanding season in Poland and will only get better, and more expensive, over the next couple of years. Tougai is a strong and experienced CB who would have no problems adapting to Scottish football.
Asked some of my Celtic supporting friends which positions they feel need strengthened this summer. They chose Goalkeeper and Centre-Back to start with. (Although they also suggested a winger and a striker, which I will highlight in another post.)
the box.
Esposito is likely to get a squad role at Inter Milan soon, especially after his strong spell at Spezia. But if Inter want him to get regular top-flight minutes next season then a loan move to a team competing in Europe could be a perfect development step.
Francesco Pio Esposito is one of the most exciting young strikers in Italy right now. Although it would be ambitious to attempt to get him on loan I think he would be perfect for Rangers and Russell Martin’s play style, a striker who can link play, press with energy and be a constant threat inside
Not surprised in the slightest that Heart of Midlothian FC have made Elton Kabangu a permanent signing. 13 goals is his best single season tally and I fully expect him to pass this in the 25/26 season.
Looking at Motherwell FC’s newest addition - Lukas Fadinger
Couple of quick reports I did recently of Leo Sauer and Nils Zatterstrom.
SWPL 2 under 21 minutes
Serbian Super Liga under 21 minutes.
Had another couple of requests to cover the Cymru Premier and SWPL
What are your thoughts on the numbers?
What percentage do you think teams should be aiming for at a minimum?
Also would you be for the league introducing a rule in regards to playing domestic youth players?
Players who have turned 21 during the season so far are included in these stats.
Had a few requests for an update to the under 21’s minutes I had posted previously.

It’s been a while. New format of scouting dashboard I’m trying.
Aerial duels won, % - 69.52 (86)
Interceptions per 90 - 6.2 (91)
Passing accuracy - 82.99 (31)
Accurate long passes - 53.26 (52)
Progressive passes per 90 - 7.92 (60)
Looks like he would be a great partner for Souttar when he returns but need another CB who excels at playing out from the back.
Katic
Interested to hear people’s opinions if he was to return to Rangers. His stats and (percentiles) for this season in the Swiss Super League are:
Successful defensive actions per 90 - 10.47 (72)
Defensive duels per 90 - 6.31 (60)
Defensive duels won, % - 66.12 (38)

Eilidh Adam’s - 2nd top goalscorer in the SWPL1 and has scored nearly a third of all Hibs Women’s league goals this season.

Excellent 1st season so far for Natalia Wróbel with Glasgow City Football Club.
13 games, 8 goals. Hattrick yesterday against Rangers to take them top of the SWPL.

Also someone spoke about getting the B Team into the league set up, personally I don’t think that will happen as fans of other clubs don’t want B Teams in the league and have made that clear, so why are these players not currently out on loan getting minutes?
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
(although, not as much as we should have) and a few of those players have shown more desire and effort than “experienced” players within the squad. Surely to help the development you’ve got to get them minutes. Last night would’ve been a great chance for youth players to get 20 mins under there belt
So I’ve seen Clement’s quotes from the Rangers AGM where he says the bar is high to be a Rangers player and the academy players aren’t quite at the bar yet. Personally I would disagree. We have seen King, Devine, Fraser, McKinnon, Rice, Lowry and Lovelace at some point over the past year
Solid at the back tonight. Apart from a couple of lapses in concentration where he gives the ball away. He just needs a better partner. Propper only won 1 of 3 ground duels and didn’t win his 1 aerial duel.

😂 even then I think we’d need to go back a few seasons
