It's great the CEO of An Post will be involved in The Dublin Taskforce.

He got An Post out of a hole. I talk to other philately people and An Post is an absolute shining beacon compared to a lot of the other postal services. For it's postal delivery, ancillary services and finances. #SpéirGhorm

I had a bus trip in the sun for a not very pleasant reason, today. The good weather helped, even with the unpleasant very necessary journey reason.

Staring out the window what were previously long distances, at least to me, seemed more walkable.

I'll have to get a good pair of walking boots.

It's about developing the processes to get the materials with the least stressors possible.

I could ask, and I will at some point, for me this is a process for myself I'd like to develop naturally and without my own stressors. Organic personal growth although roundup may be deployed tactically.

I do not like the little ping on my phone I get every Monday morning reporting on my "Digital Wellbeing."

I am fully aware of how my digital wellbeing is. We all are. We do not need to be reminded that algorithms on our phones are judging us. Stopping them might aid my wellbeing. HTH. #SpeirGorm

I spent some time last night researching plant food for a small urban garden. The processes involved in manufacture are astounding.

It might be very notions but eventually a more natural plant food system for home growing 'new climate' fruit and veg would be nice. Seaweed seems to be it!

You understand why the Egyptians were buried with all their stuff.

When the pharaohs died they might finally have had time to organise everything they owned.

Does anyone have a yellow Quinnsworth copybook spare?

I want to get really into the "Doing my homework" vibe. ✍️

I'm really enjoying my €6 pound shop copy, at the moment.

It's nice to flip around through it seeing where my curiosity takes me, and looking things up based on what I hear or see, especially through the media. Not necessarily from hearing Irish spoken but what's relevant to modern culture. ❤️

Not being a speaker is hard to give advice, but with a host of kids all gone to school through Irish - I'ld offer this;

2 dictionaries

1 - a basic school's edition for simpler translations
2 - Dinneens foclóir - for the wider depth of translation.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Would you please stop inspiring me to play games, Dave.

I am a grown adult with responsibilities and it makes me cry when I can't sit down to have fun. - - - Please keep posting forever, this brought me the biggest smile I've had so far today. 😄👏

I'd imagine there was real danger for a lot of people then. There was a civil war, people often needed to protect their identity and there was hostility beneath outwardly pleasant and united appearances.

You might be known as one thing to your family and something else in public. #Revolutionaries ☘️

I'm hoping the #SpéirGhorm cohort can help me with this... I'm looking for a good Irish-English dictionary for a learner who wants both breadth and depth.

A decent reference dictionary to both sit on a bookshelf and get used.

Interesting point brought up here by Teresa about Greenways and using them for hiking, and camping. What do you want in a greenway hike camp? No wrong answers.

I know campers who'll sleep under a tarp all the way to people who want the full amenities of a mobile home by the beach. #SpéirGhorm

An update on my green shoots – nodYESYES

I don't know why I thought of my last blog. It's almost midnight. But I'm glad I did as I almost forgot to water my plants.

This is an update on the plants from a few days ago. I'm getting worried about the next blog given current home events (tradespeople are involved.)

I'd like an Irish Camino. Or just somewhere I can walk and get out of my head.

I dunno when foreign travel will be affordable, hotels here are expensive, but a tent and camping stove?

Exactly what cyclists are campaigning for. More cycle lanes disappearing after 100m.

Or just buy every house along the route for cycle lanes. What could it cost?

I'd be happy with a toilet.

What annoys me is I know people from all over the world who like walking, and hiking, even on flat routes. "Greenways" seem to be being said as "Cycleways" in all instances.

People actually like walking. Long distances, too. People even like carrying a tent on their back while walking. #SpéirGhorm

Listening to LiveLine... CPOs for greenways. Amenities very necessary for tourism, recreation, getting away from your troubles. #SpeirGhorm

It sounds like The State is using a blunt instrument against people. Maybe more a cudgel. It seems to be standard now to just not talk to people.

And no funding. Heaps of fun.

My initial thoughts are against allotments. Especially if they follow the path in the UK were there's a fee and rights to grow on lands, even with rules.

I'd much prefer proper community gardens where people are encouraged to work together. #SpéirGhorm

Do you want an update on the seeds I planted? It's been a process for me but the star of the show is upcycling besides the determination of natural processes.

And, please, understand this attempt to engage with my mother tongue, #SpéirGhorm agus buinneán glas?

A version of Dungeons and Dragons #DnD called Sangwiches and Siblings. The first bit of equipment on my purchase list is a Magical Press of Holding.

A #Traveller RPG will hopefully come at some point.

What would your essential character equipment be in this fantasy world? #SpéirGhorm #TTRPG

I used a single leadership role for a character in my solo game to simply be recognised as someone with quality military experience, by low-ish level station police, and thus garner respect.

This resulted in an acknowledgement that there was someone of their tribe who had control of the situation.

Not even reporting on typically feminine coded subjects being a form of misogyny in its own right.

Or possibly misandry. Why would you hate men so much to not teach them how to cook and express themselves?

I'm sure someone knows what category this fits into, although categorisations is the issue.
