UPDATE re dropbox replay: turns out this was my fault. the mp3 i was putting into dropbox replay was at a different sample rate than my pro tools session. Just did this with a different session, had them both at 44.1 and it fixed the issue.
I'm a writers assistant on this new show. I've been really good at getting lunch orders but having a hard time showing any other potential. gotta start somewhere right? lol
some major growth areas but i'm surrounded by comedy assassins (seriously). check it out

3b. HOWEVER, there's been a recent bug where when you export the markers to Pro Tools, they don't land on the correct spots on the timeline. So my edits are just landing in random spots throughout the session. Sucks because Replay saves me hours and hours of time. Hoping this gets fixed.
3a. (software) This one has easily impacted me the most in the last year and a half but there's a recent bug that's been killing me: Dropbox Replay. I upload an mp3 of my session on DR, connect it to Pro Tools and listen at a faster speed. I drop markers w/ cuts and they export straight to PT.
2. Dell 34" Curved monitor - I'm building a post-production space and wanted a big screen to accommodate my old ass eyes. Was editing audio+video for over a year from a laptop and my oh my this feels like I'm at the freaking movies now. Really enjoying DaVinci + Pro Tools on the big (to me) screen.
A few editing purchases I've made that I've been MOSTLY really enjoying:
1. Logitech MX Master 4 - changed the game for me being able to map all my Pro Tools hot keys onto the mouse. Took some time to get used to but editing a lot faster now. Wild editing whole episodes with one hand.
