三菱の創設者岩崎家の庭園、六義園にて。庭園の中心に大きな池があり、その周縁がいかにもカワセミが巣を造れそうだったので、歩いているとやはりいた。餌の小魚も多そうで恰幅のいい個体だった。
六義園は広大で様々な景観を持った美しい庭園であった。
