I’ve been told by multiple voiceover directors that I could play an anime protagonist. I did not believe it until auditioning for a protagonist this morning that fit my voice print. I now fully understand the assignment. 😂

Moment of transparency:
This year has been a real struggle. Both mentally and artistically. My artistic expression has suffered terribly, I was dam near down and out, but I had to tell myself "Pick yourself up buttercup, there's a job you have to do." One day I will be Twitch/YouTube partner.
There’re not many people who I can say I hope I have the privilege to work with one day or just meet, but Oscar Montoya is one of them. His inspirational story has so many elements that I related to and I hope to not only meet him in person one day, but to be able to play alongside of him.
Whether or not you are an artist, you should watch It Takes A Universe. There are so many great interviews with so many brilliant nuggets of information in the interview series that you can apply to you life. Oscar Montoya’s interview is one of those great interviews.

The last election broke something in me. I have 0 patience for nonsense. I am quick to have someone escorted off the premises if they want to talk real slick. That ignorance can be taken elsewhere, because I don’t want to hear it.

Several more lessons that I learned in my big 30s:
3. I want to be a performer, ok cool, but there are a lot of wolves in sheep’s clothing out here in these streets. Protection is key.
4. Knowing my worth and staying true to myself is the most important thing as a performer I can do.
Couple of big 30s lessons I learned from the disgusting things that emerged this week on social media:
1. Trust my gut when something remotely feels off about someone.
2. My social circle being small is a good thing. I am keeping my head down and doing the work to advance my career in private.
