My mom takes me to meet Mr. Izzard, editor and publisher of the Amarillo Globe News in August of 1970. I wanted to get my comics published. Mr. Izzard was very kind and took time to meet and talk with me and my mom. The newsroom was bustling with activity and very exciting!
