It’s A problem, yes. And when a large class on people relied on it for generations, and it goes away, that’s another problem. I never said it was a good system, just that a lot of people benefited from it and relied on it.

This is true on an individual level, but systemically it’s a problem since it’s insanely difficult to live well in this country without family money. Succeeding when you start with nothing is the tiny exception, not the norm. Bootstrapping is largely a myth.

Human rights belong to all humans.
Trans people are humans.
Human rights belong to trans people.
Human rights are trans rights.
Trans rights are human rights.

Somebody who remembers their Elementary Logic class can write that up with all the symbols, I am sure.
