I honestly don’t know what the joke is here either. I just had to get it out of my system

“Bro life’s a movie”
Yeah, Stuart little 2
Never. I only play games that look ugly and lame
I see. So it’s more about people not understanding that their not part of the target demographic. Yeah, that is always obnoxious
-hours to go after that sort of game. I get it though. I’m sure I’d feel on top of the world if I beat the Sans boss fight in undertale
True. It’s all down to personal preference though. Some people love hacking away at a challenge all day before they finally break through, all for the euphoria of overcoming such a demanding trial. I do understand that appeal, and partaken in it a few times myself, but I typically don’t have the-
I’m sure you know this already, but filling this game with juicy/crunchy sound effects for every action and animation would make playing it a really satisfying experience
The ironic part is traffic would be better for them if more people chose to walk/bus
-It has nothing to do with “gamer cred” or my pride though. I’ll freely raise and lower the difficulty to keep it within this zone. Its just the level of challenge I find engaging, and I end up appreciating the design more if I need to really consider every mechanic to succeed. That’s just me though
I love keeping a game’s resistance within a goldilocks zone that requires I focus and engage with the systems to the near best of my abilities, but doing so will have me overcome the challenge 7 times out of 10– needing to only occasionally redo an obstacle a few times.-
You know Reacher from the TV show Reacher typed this himself. He’s just shy about asking you out on a date
What a neato GDC. Met lots of cool people. Played some fun games. Saw a dog with sunglasses. 10/10 no notes

I like 2 best, then 1
I personally really like it. Simple shapes/textures in 3D are my jam, and this reminds me of Louie Zong’s work (albeit he is executing the style at a higher level). The only thing I’m meh on are the hands. The wizard should have stumpier fingers, or even full-on mitt/stump hands to match the style
Attention GDC peeps: Big Coffee doesn’t want you to know this, but there’s a booth in front of the South expo hall giving out free cafe-quality coffee. Tell your loved ones

That’s awesome! Would there be any way the player could zoom the camera out just a tad?
I think I accidentally typed it, and the link stayed
Also I’m not liable for whatever happens to your computer after clicking “cute. family”. Idk what that is but feel free to be adventurous
As much as I love Root and the contrast between its adorable art and cut-throat politics, it has surely caused consumer confusion and disappointed low scores from parents who wanted a cute, family game night. I think it’s worth it imo, no offense to the Moms who had to serve as collateral damage lol
I can’t lie, I’m childish enough to be more interested in this than a more placid game about subsistence farming
Slight warping might work, but definitely not to that severity
Congrats on your transformation
Some people simply can’t solve puzzles due to a skill deficiency. They’re not perceptive enough to spot the connections, so the solution eludes them. People who are thwarted from completing the puzzle due to this resistance, being unable to overcome the challenge, have lost the game
But a puzzle has specific rules to be followed. The pieces must fit together. You have to place them all to win. You can’t physically alter the pieces (like with scissors). It’s simple, but simple games like Memory or I Spy exist.
-believe the competitive aspect is required to make it a game, hypothetically there could be a version where the players must work together to solve this mystery (using actions within the parameters of the game) and that would be a cooperative game, albeit an easier one. And very similar to a puzzle
I just think so many things ARE games— even if we don’t typically think of them as such. A more concrete example, along the same reasoning of my escape room hypothetical, is the game Clue. There is 1 set solution, and the players must investigate the game elements to unveil it. I don’t even-
I actually think this google result is pretty on point
Does a win state not turn it into a game?
