“It’s a show like no other!” Proceeds to describe a show quite a lot like The Traitors.

Screengrab. Text reads: r/AskUK What do you think is the best british tv show to sum up life in Britain? Out of all of you guys general expertise whats ur favourite tv show or tv show that most accurately depicts life in Britain?
Predictably, the answers to this are almost exclusively sitcoms.

Northbound it comes above ground just before you arrive into East Finchley station and remains above ground all the way up to High Barnet. Highgate is the last station that’s below ground.
Woohoo! See you all at @machcomedyfest.bsky.social

Yep, same at the Beeb. In the last week I’ve been told by a producer that they’re loathe to speak to writers because scripted comedy is so risky and what they’re actually looking for is ‘light touch comedy entertainment- fronted by people with a big social media following’
A sign which says “This is Bloomsbury” the first O in Bloomsbury looks like the Greendale College flag from Community.
A study group designed this.
Trying to come up with an entertainment format that takes LESS time to film than it does to broadcast.
Cor blimey, can't believe this is in less than a month already! It'll be your last chance to catch Link's Gambit in London, so don't miss out!
Here’s a list of some more of their parodies:

Just glorious.
(I always admire shows that don’t talk down to children & assume the intelligence of their viewers. Sesame Street is the embodiment of this attitude.)

There’s some truly brilliant writing on Sesame Street.

A black ink on yellow background hand-drawn advert for Crowley Time, as featured in the latest Viz, issue 355. Top line implores, ‘Hey, comedy fans! Listen to Crowley Time! It’s radio sketch comedy… but a podcast!’
Crowley Time is in Viz this month! Facing page folded over because it’s Drunken Bakers and frankly it’s unpublishable. crowleytime.com
If this isn’t the sort of observation social media was made for, I genuinely don’t know what is.
Anne Haney in Northern Exposure
Anne Haney in Deep Space Nine.
The really cool thing about all this is that the judge arbitrating in both episodes is the same actor. Anne Haney.
Jadzia on trial.
3 years later in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Dax” from Nov 1995, Jadzia Dax is put on trial for something her previous host Curzon did. Her counsel argues that Jadzia Dax is not the same person as Curzon Dax who committed the offence.
Chris sitting next to his lawyer.
In the Northern Exposure episode “Crime & Punishment” from Dec 1992, Chris is put on trial but his lawyer argues that he’s no longer the same person as he was when he committed the offence.
Tom Crowley and Viz is the crossover I never knew I needed until this moment!
Love Viz, love Crowley Time, so obviously love this!
There’s a lot going on.
(All shit.)
Anyone got a spare copy of that Protect & Survive pamphlet?

A sign at the Young V&A Museum. In the background there is a colourful sculpture made of flower-shaped blocks. The sign in front reads “We don't have to build anything that makes sense. Just put some blue blocks together and see what happens.”
I like this one, too.
Screen grab of headline: Michael Palin: I was sixth choice for TV job Michael Palin is one of the UK's most loved travel journalists (Image of Michael Palin) MICHAEL Palin is one of our most loved travel programme makers - but he nearly lost out to Noel Edmonds. The Monty Python star
Michael Palin was not the first choice to present Around the World in 80 Days. In fact Noel Edmonds was considered before him. So, you know, nothing makes any sense & no-one knows what they’re doing.
