WIP Wednesday this week is part of an idea in the Sora!Verse that I swear I will find a ficlet plot for.

I’m usually better at nailing down a coherent plot map to build off of but right now I’m just like 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Do I go canon divergence or total AU outside the OP universe entirely? Do I go with an intrigue plot where Germa is scheming to take over Wano or more mundane with Judge just wanting a political alliance? Do I try and work in the rest of the crew somehow or just Zoro and Sanji?

So apparently between Lineage, And All of Our Strangeness, and even Bloodlines I still haven’t managed to stem my urge to explore Zoro’s Wano ancestry in fics. I’m now batting around an idea of Wano meets Germa but having a hard time locking down the plot.

Well that sure is … something.

First WIP Wednesday I’ve done in months due to writer’s block.

The OP fandom had a rash of that a couple of years ago, makes me wonder if it’s the same person back from the ether. Either way that sucks and I’m sorry you’re dealing with it :(((

I’m also loving the new fans rediscovering the “Luffy is Roger’s son” theory. Giving me flashbacks to twenty years ago, lol.

Rainy day on vacation has seen me binge watch all of Season 2 OPLA. Enjoyed it a lot and frankly hoping it inspires my writing brain, as that’s been sadly dormant of late.

For real, though. OPLA isn’t perfect but no show is and it’s a fun time imo.

Honestly, this is how I interpret it too. To me Zoro is Luffy’s first mate, but, because it’s Luffy, that doesn’t necessarily look the same as it does elsewhere.
