This angle is focused on white shirt Fray who has shifted his gaze to the side to look at the viewer. He reaches back to hold red Fray's hand, eyes narrowed.

It weighs as it should.

Nidhogg and Fray sit together in a quiet, peaceful area of the Churning Mists, with The Old Father tree visible behind them.

After sitting in silence for some time, Fray grows restless. They study Nidhogg’s expression and decide that, despite appearing sad at first glance, he is likely just deep in thought. Their mind drifts as they try to understand why they are moved through this place so often, brushing against fragments of a past life they can almost remember, but never fully grasp.

Their thoughts drift further, circling the question of why a dragon of his stature would choose a form suited to them and linger in it for reasons beyond mere breeding curiosity. The idea settles uneasily: they are, in essence, useless, unable to transform through dragon blood. It gnaws at them. Worse still, where they are usually quick with banter, nothing comes to mind. The silence stretches, and with it, a quiet fear of saying the wrong thing, of provoking him in any way. Suddenly, they feel a pull from below, lifting them upward.

Nidhogg, perhaps sensing their stress, coils his long tail around their waist and pulls them close. He tells them to calm down, and Fray sheepishly replies that they haven’t even said anything yet. Apparently, they don’t have to. They look just as flustered as they are afraid.
