Probably just as well that Michail Antonio is going to get banned from driving

The fact that Leicester have been relegated with that squad is insane. Even without the points deduction they'd probably have gone.
There have been many occasions when this has been more than a little awkward, let's say! I've been known to craftily slip on a headphone if I'm struggling even in unfamiliar territory.
Some of them were pretty good. The collection probably still exists in someone's loft, will have to dig it out. I bought one of the Just William audiobooks on ITUNES out of curiosity a few years ago and it was very, very fucking funny. Much more so as an adult than a child.
I used to fall asleep listening to audio tapes. To this day I still need white noise, one of radio/fan/podcast. If I could back in time I would wean myself off it while I was still at primary school.
Frankly they're of the same literary merit as a flyer for a kebab shop. And if you're counting audiobooks then you really are a degenerate.
Some people argue the fact men in their late 40s/early 50s are going deep in tournaments shows that snooker is uncompetitive. This argument simply doesn't fit with the pattern of triple crown titles. If it were true, surely it's indicative of the level of skill that it takes decades to master...
5 of the 8 fastest 147s in snooker history have been by Ronnie O'Sullivan. Not sure anyone has been more talented relative to their peers than him, in any sport. And it *is* a sport. The mental demands are intense, but the physical strain is far greater than most people realise too.

Even the prim, purse-lipped (and perfectly healthy) NW journalists are abusing the ozempic now. Utterly ridiculous. In the marginal, or completely unnecessary cases, it's suggestive of a dark undercurrent of narcissism.
Likewise supporting the club from the place you grew up in. I don't care if your dad supported a team 150 miles away, great-great-uncle's neighbour played for them, all those old chestnuts. Walking euphorically through the streets you've known since childhood after 3 points isn't topped by much.
In my experience a win means a hell of a lot more to supporters of lower league clubs than it does to those in the Premier League, especially the big ones.
Funny to think that, globally, 99% of Liverpool 'fans' have never met, and are never likely to meet, a solitary Everton fan. Rendering the derby no more meaningful than any other match.

Worth pointing out a lot of people, particularly journalists & Liverpool fans, thought this was outstanding work. Casuals. Sunderland's was clearly the best from the outset.
Neuer once again reminding us that the one place you don't want someone too clever by half is in goal
I had 1. Man City 2. Arsenal 3. Liverpool
Even that was grossly optimistic. Over 90% of BBC pundits had Liverpool either top of runners-up

If you send a voice note instead of a text you are saying that you think your time is more important than the person who has to spend time listening to you bore on
I'm not prone to violent outbursts but when I see Sir Ed Davey's face on the television the air fills with Anglo-Saxon language and I have an overwhelming urge to do a Cantona on the screen. It's the faux-concerned frown that gets me most. Only Stella Creasy is worse for it. Total insincerity.
There's a 'gay footballer' in the Championship. Usually journos would be drooling over such a story, celebrating a 'trailblazer'. There is a snag however. Ideological dissonance. Once granted asylum in the UK, he decided the Ivory Coast isn't so dangerous after all and he's now even been capped.
Given the fairly imperceptible gap between the two, the liberals cheering on Magyar's triumph over Orban may well come to resemble, given time, chickens thanking the wolf for chasing off a fox
Also slightly of concern is seems to be an explicit effort to increase the athletic requirements for youngsters.
Yes, players will have more of the ball but you could argue going from 5 to 3-a-side will make the time they do have on the ball less challenging technically. Fine balance to strike.
Interesting. Have mixed feelings about this. Although, the idea this will affect the development of defenders I do disagree with. If anything, not having a GK will make youngsters more defensively aware.
One of my biggest concerns would be the impact on the quality of finishing. Too easy to score
Even by the sclerotic standards of local journalism, Jonathan Waldron is an awful reporter. A *major* story on his patch re Terry takeover and he's starting with "According to reports in the Sun". 7 hours afterwards. Seen corpses react faster. And heaven forbid he actually break a story for once.
Don Tzu - love it…:
Good player but hated him and hated the Chelsea era he was part of. Obviously the personal baggage too. The one image of him that sticks in my mind with England was him on the floor and making a futile attempt to block a shot with his head. Fair play.
Jesus Christ. Looks pretty close to being announced offically. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. What are the chances he installs himself as manager in the next few seasons too? #colu
Some people will say “video games are a waste of time” after they’ve just been watching videos on TikTok for 3 hours.
