Do I just die?

I look at artists that are doing this full time and are getting so burnt out because they have to keep tossing inspiration into the "content" fire. Have to keep doing art they're not passionate about to keep lights on. How do you get ahead? Work until you get arthritis and can't draw anymore?

I hate it. Even if my house and student loans were paid off, if somehow property taxes stopped going up and healthcare somehow became affordable - there's still the data centers making electric and water prices skyrocket.

I still feel like if I don't run fast enough on the treadmill it'll eat me alive, and it will. I've already given up on doing art full time because I am not currently/cannot get popular enough fast enough to be able to support myself. So instead, I work a job that feeds the capitalist beast.

Every day I see another artist post something new and beautiful and I'm still on day 15/??? to finish a single piece I feel myself withering up. And I try to curb this thinking and remind myself that the constant need for MORE MORE MORE is a capitalistic thing. But it doesn't help.

I wish I could keep up with one of these. The like, 3 pieces I do a year are always fun though lol
