Zinnias have a warm spot in my heart b/c I grew up w/them. My dad always planted a bed full of them near our fence. They bloomed all summer despite constantly cutting them & into early autumn. We gave hundreds to friends & neighbours & mom constantly kept a glass jar of them on our kitchen table.

Very rarely. I usually only go there if I get a notification. I'm probably not going to do that for much longer though. In fact, I'll likely delete my account and the app. I'm on FB, Threads, and Instagram much more often. I'm here some too, but still trying to get used to it. My husband is here.

I am with you. It's one of the Church's dogmas that I don't really understand. I'm also annoyed that it's a holy day of obligation here in the US & since today is also the 2nd Sunday of Advent, they've moved the obligation to tomorrow. I really dislike HDOs for a number of reasons.

I voted for her in the midst of my bright red state knowing that my vote wouldn't really count. I feel like that should qualify me for the nice list. If so, I'd love a couple of books from my to-be-read list, an Android tablet for my chorus music, and some chocolate.
One last thing: the pwrn/OnlyFans bot accounts are starting to migrate over to Bluesky too. I've had a few of those try to follow me. Report and block. Report and block.

Generally, they have only a few accounts (if any) following them and they are following hundreds or even thousands of accounts. If someone with an account like this tries to follow you, please report them and block the account.
My working hypothesis is that these are some kind of bots which search for certain keywords in account profiles and then follow those accounts. One key thing that makes me think they're bots is that the number of followers vs followed accounts is extremely lopsided.
The only remotely identifying thing that these accounts share in common with each other is a rather vague picture of some young man who appears to be African (although which country is anyone's guess). That's it. I would swear that I've seen the same picture used at least twice.

I want to apologise if I've ever offended you by my language. I tend to get kinda salty at times and have definitely dropped more than a few f-bombs. I try to have a good reason, but I sincerely apologise if my language has ever come across as egregious in its tone.

I've had my flu shot, but not Covid as I needed to wait a little bit to get the booster since I had Covid in August. Hubby and our eldest got both shots when I got my one. Need to schedule a time to get the youngest two both of theirs & sooner rather than later.
