I was honoured to nominate Peggy Plet for the Ontario Heritage Trust's Thomas Symons Award for Commitment to Conservation, which she received at a Queen's Park ceremony on Friday. Peggy has worked tirelessly to share the overlooked stories of Black settlers who played a role in building KW.
