Recently played: CAIRN, my second French rock climbing game in the past six months. Surprisingly elegant controls, great characters, a compelling and understated narrative. I really enjoyed it overall, but I'll admit to finding the psychedelic ending a bit trite. Not my thing I guess 😜

In December 2025 the contents of the PS2 game 'Yu-Gi-Oh: The Duelists of the Roses' were dumped to the Modeler's Resource by user Batzpup. I've never heard of this game before today but apparently it is just hundreds upon hundreds of stone-cold low-poly masterpieces.

Good article! I’m curious, what did you think of the explicit story in the game (the donkeys, the rotting basement, the cabin)? The narrative sort of disguises itself as a joke but it catches you. In the end I found myself *happy* for this loser manchild who I had hated, and was surprised by that.

He hyped up Skate Story in a recent interview, clearly he’s still plugged in. He’s consuming new fresh stuff. But his grand artistic vision is still to make a Japanese Bulletstorm. Sometimes I think maybe he’s five steps ahead of the rest of us.
