Sunshine on the warmest day of the year so far, with 18.6°C, has been provisionally recorded at Kew Gardens.

Photos from St James Park, where all the daffodils are out in the spring sunshine in winter.

This is the highest February temperature since 2019, when it reached 19.2 at Heathrow.

Yes, not great for front covers, but sometimes I get over £200 for book covers. This year, I will probably make more money from Facebook (paying me to post) than from stock editorial.

Excellent cover, yes, gone down since the heyday when there were lots of physical publications wanting photos.

They deteriorate the service and want you to pay to get it back.

That's great, last year was my first time at the carnival in Venice and now addicted :) So returned this year and back again in 2027.

Just returned from the incredible Venice Carnival, a 12-day celebration filled with amazing people, exquisite costumes, breathtaking scenery, delightful food, frequent rain, warm sunshine, and bustling crowds, along with high tide flooding.
