Gorgeous. The isometric view really helps nail a sense of scale and space. It really reminds me of Breath of Fire 3 & 4. Also the overall aesthetic is rad.

Updating my website has been shockingly fun and a change of pace for my creative focus. Still not finished, but it's absolutely looking better.

Also been working on Veil Runners. Mar-Apr has focused on updating dice, finding artists, world details, & keeping my creative energies high. Another teaser:

During 2001-2005ish my mom worked as a nurse at a couple of hospitals where a lot of US casualties were going. It’s scary to know someone we care about might get deployed. Sending good vibes. I wish I could give more but my family mostly had to sit and wait and see.

I really love this and am absolutely going to implement it into Veil Runners. On top of being a cool idea it really helps focus more of my broad art commission wants.

I find my interest in 40k leaning toward “people.” Playing with circumstances that focus not on faction or survival but living makes the model building/painting even more fulfilling.

What commonalities do a GSC Magus, an Escher Queen, & a squad of Aquilons have kind of stuff.

Watching @peeve.bsky.social play Link’s Awakening is a really wild experience. LA was foundational to my love of games & Peeve was one of the first streamers I enjoyed.

- The UE Driver does what it needs to do relatively well. Basic GPS, directions, messaging with clients, etc. It’s not great, but it works well enough.

- Tips can be incredible. I typically make between $5-8 on a delivery. Some nights I make $20 on a trip.

- Wages are terrible. You rely on tips. UE pays you less if you’re are projected to have a higher tip.
- UE Driver app is bad if you need support. You’re typically directed to an AI auto reply machine of any issues.
- Some people don't tip. You can refuse a limited number of deliveries.
