We all celebrate Superman Day differently, Krypto's eating treats, Supergirl is off on an adventure, and Superman is...hanging out with Lex?
Happy anniversary to Superman and Lois Lane! They’ve been saving the world and telling its stories since 1938, with no plans to stop. They made their first appearances in ACTION COMICS #1, written by Jerry Siegel, with pencils and inks by Joe Shuster.
A happy birthday to my pal and one of the most dedicated dancers on Peacemaker S2, Sol Rodriguez!
While shooting the Big Belly burger scene with Harcourt and Peacemaker, I got a call from our close close friend Mikaela Hoover saying that she had been cast in the series Beef. Jenn started crying when I told her, so I sent a picture to Mikaela to make fun of Jenn but also show how loved she was.
Superman at rest.
Rehearsal. #Superman
Honored to be the commencement speaker at my alma mater Saint Louis University.
I'm so excited to share Superman Experience: Defenders Unite opens on April 18th (Superman Day!) at Warner Bros. Studios. Team up with Superman to protect the world. This attraction was made with a lot of love for Superman. Hope to see you there! #Superman #SupermanExperience
In honor of my pal Michael Rooker’s birthday, here is a picture of Red St. Wild and I on the set of #Peacemaker.

Today is The Engineer's anniversary! This is a shot of Gaby and her body double on the set of #Superman to celebrate!
Happy anniversary to the main man himself! Lobo didn’t just enter the comic scene – he exploded into it with his first appearance in THE OMEGA MEN #3. Written by Roger Slifer, with pencils by Keith Giffen and inks by Mike DeCarlo. See Jason Momoa become LOBO in Supergirl June 26.
Thanks so much to the Saturn Awards and the fans for honoring #Peacemaker with this award, and to Freddie and Sol for accepting this award, and especially to Jenn for this beautiful speech. 😭❤️🫎🧜♂️
He made his first appearance as Robin in DETECTIVE COMICS #38, written by Bill Finger, with pencils by Bob Kane and inks by Jerry Robinson.
Dick Grayson took tragedy, turned it into empathy, and then did a triple backflip about it. Happy anniversary to the best sidekick-turned-hero in the DC Universe.
Their legacies continue.
#Lanterns teaser tomorrow.
What can I say about John Economos… he brings a lot of “why am I here?” Portrayed by the real-life birthday boy Steve Agee (happy birthday, pal!) The first comic he ever appeared in was of course SUICIDE SQUAD #1, written by John Ostrander, with pencils by Luke McDonnell and inks by Karl Kesel.
He first appeared in SUPERMAN #4, written by Jerry Siegel, with pencils by Joe Shuster and inks by Paul Cassidy.
Happy Birthday to the ambitious and unstoppable CEO and scientist Lex Luthor, who most definitely is NOT a villain, but instead of protector of earth and humanity (he swears on a stack of Bibles). We'll see how he does working with arch-nemesis Superman in MAN OF TOMORROW, in theaters summer of 27.
He made his debut in DETECTIVE COMICS #469, written by Steve Englehart, with pencils by Walt Simonson and inks by Al Milgrom.
Happy anniversary to Doctor Phosphorus, who went from melting faces on the pages of comic books, to stealing scenes in CREATURE COMMANDOS. And yes, that radioactive charm is courtesy of the great Alan Tudyk.
