What is pokemetal and why does it look like a slice of birthday cake?

Too many times I’ve had ideas and I’m doing something else and I’m like “I’ll write it down later” and when I go to write it I forget so much of it, so now I force myself to stop whatever I’m doing—even if it’s sleep—to jot down my ideas. 😭

Found myself scripting a long conversation between two characters at like 3 in the morning on my phone’s notepad while in bed. I was just half dreaming this whole scene and then was like “shit, I should be writing this down.”

They had to wait for the moon stone to absorb enough sunlight to mature into the sun stone so they could sculpt these figures out of it.

I had to search the depths of my brain to unlock this reference.

I couldn’t stop imagining her fighting Malcom’s dad.

Tangent time-- Taka traveling with a bag over her shoulder was supposed to be like Ryu's wandering warrior thing. She doesn't have a home or anything; she just always wanders around doing her own thing and the plot finds her. I want to do a small comic about what's in her bag some day.

In fact, the whole reason Taka takes up residence in the abandoned Arcade was that I didn't want to keep drawing the bag over her shoulder. 😂

Fun [?] fact-- Star's bag in TAKA is a reference to Crono's side bag directly from the art this figure is based on.

Similarly, Taka's duffel bag is a reference to Ryu's.

They don't always carry them because holy crap was it a pain to keep drawing. 😂

You know how they tell stories of parents inexplicably lifting up cars to save their kids?

I would find the strength to punch a hole thru any person who stands between me and owning these figures.

Taka is in her Mech Fighter armor, trying to scratch her butt, she is getting frustrated cuz she can't reach her butt through the armor. She is saying "Ugh! Why is this armor so fuhkin' uncomfortable?! Can't even scratch my itchy ass in it!" with sparking flying out "Skreek" "skratch." Star is behind Taka with a finger on her face, uncomfortable, saying "gross..." Taka continues, "What a crappy ass design!" Meg is in the background; she was messing with her Takagatchi, but Taka's complaining got her attention. The Takagatchi is beeping.

I did a short 2-page meta Taka gag comic just for myself that I'll probably never post, but this first panel of Taka angrily trying to scratch her itchy butt through the metal armor and sparks flying out made me laugh--so I'll share that at least. 😂

The Pitt is an awesome show that stresses me the fuck out every episode. It’s so good.

There isn’t a single moment, just a general toxicity I’d rather not get into. If you aren’t exposed to it, you’re better off cuz It’s a great show. My favorite right now.

I never thought of it that way. I just thought it was for atmosphere.

Don't get me wrong, i totally like her as a character and the suit is cool as hell--i just need her to make like...a big gun or a big sword and start hackin' these dudes down a little. Every scene of her fighting is her getting thrown around like a stuffed animal.

Battle Beast, Allen, Motorcycle guy all are pretty deadly against the Viltrumites in combat, but Tech Jacket hasn't done anything yet, unless her role is defensive? She did protect Allen with the suit, and use it to make a video game to entertain him for two months.
