I just spent an hour crying angrily at that poor excuse for a woman, let alone feminist, that is Germaine Greer, who in 2002 decided to simply repurpose the male gaze on young boys for the supposed enjoyment of women, literally replicating patriarchal objectification and hierarchy but with her and anyone who bought her book "the beautiful boy". I despise being included in any category that I light share with her. And here I am trying to find not only dignity that men with supposedly feminine capital like beauty should recognise, but to extend an olive branch to them showing that yes, patriarchy (not feminists) hurt you too. Maybe it's worth fighting it together? Except so far, once they hit 30 they think hyper masculinise and hypersexualisation is how they get the respect patriarchy didn't give them when their beauty put them in close proximity to women than men. I feel like I'm fighting windmills...
