One of my favorite tidbits from this development is that not only did grass start growing in the desert for the first time, but that it grew so tall to the point it started covering the solar panels and becoming a massive issue, and the best solution was to just let sheep eat the grass.
The figures here also show that 7% of all child suicides were trans children. That compares with trans children making up only 1% of the population.
Trans kids are seven times as likely to die by suicide as cis kids and all this government can do is make things worse and cover these figures up.

Instead of doomscrolling, let’s try sharing mutual aids of the victims of the state violence inflicted upon us. Juan Carlos, an unhoused person living in their car, was assaulted on January 9th by ICE agents, beat bloody, and still ticketed with his car—his only shelter—impounded.
Those of you who still insist on drawing a distinction between ICE and police should be aware that the police are not drawing that distinction.
