Plans for new house just got approved by LA County zoning and planning. Still need to get through building and safety which will take 2-3 months but hope to be rebuilt by late 2026 or early 2027

I think they are redeploying national guard that are still helping with public safety in the Palisades Fire area.

First step today on the lot. The toppled the chimney as they begin debris removal.

All going smoothly so far but will be a years long process. Thankfully have very supportive friends and family.

Views from my new rental in Pasadena. Settling in post fire. And devolving a new routine as I navigate the recovery process.

I am still a bit overwhelmed so likely won’t be responding to folks directly for a while.

My needs are being met. Have family and friends for emotional support, supportive employer, insurance and other financial resources.

Just wanted to let folks who know me know that I am safe. Staying with a good friend with my cats. Lost the house in the fire. Moving forward- already found a place to live for the next 3-6 months. Hopefully will get the keys Friday.
