Not sure what sort of math gives this as an "estimate" for our natural gas usage in February 🤔
Must be new math...

CHARLIE ANGUS - THIS IS MORE THAN A TARIFF WAR
CHARLIE ANGUS - THIS IS MORE THAN A TARIFF WAR YouTube video by Charlie Angus

Trump has never wavered in his attack on Canada. He has stated his intention to use economic tariffs to break our will. Rhetoric from MAGA officials continues to escalate.
The 35% threat is not about trade. This is war by other means.
We need to be strong.

Bloomberg philanthropy to cover U.S. climate dues after Paris withdrawal Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's philanthropy and other U.S. funders said on Thursday they will cover U.S. financial obligations to the UN climate framework after President Donald Trump called for the U.S. to withdraw - for a second time - from the Paris climate agreement.

GOOD NEWS
Bloomberg Philanthropy to cover U.S. climate dues to the UNFCCC. This ensures the U.S. meets its financial and reporting commitments, supporting global climate efforts despite federal inaction.

From a Facebook post from Rebecca Solnit: "It's striking that people add up the countries that went right word in leadership to declare a trend, while the rejections and left trends don't get tallied up much. So here goes: Lula is back in power after one term of Bolsonaro; Poland dumped its far right leadership; the right didn't triumph in France as predicted (though it's chaos there and centrist Macron is unloved); the UK got its first labor government since forever; Mexico elected a progressive woman; Germany is a mess but with left-of-center PM after all those years of Merkel making conservatism look good; Australia has a labor Prime Minister; Spain has a socialist Prime Minister."

She goes on to note that in places like the US we have pivoted right however. But that it's worth mentioning that one reason given for the invasion of Ukraine, is that having a democracy on its border, was threatening an autocracy in Russia.

This video camera study showed that less than 5% of people on bikes broke traffic laws while riding, yet 66% of people did so when driving. And if you REALLY want even MORE bike-riders to obey laws, build more protected bike infrastructure. Via @carltonreid.com
