Wanna know something that's more powerful, impactful and sustainable than No Kings 3? Showing up to our City Council Meetings. There's a lot of engagement around this Robert Ballard ( District E) Deployment--and we can do something about it! On Monday Feb 16, at 5:30p the CC will likely address this in their workshop. If you can attend, please do! - The workshop has been canceled by the CC On Wednesday Feb 18 at 5:30p we TOGETHER can make a public comment sharing your thoughts. This is the most important part. Let the CC know that this is not OK, especially if you're in District E, Ballard's district. City Council meetings are usually boring--mostly because how Cody Kennedy runs them (which we can also voice our opinion about) -- but this is how we PREVENT a debacle like the Library Board appointments. I will be at both: Hit me up and we can sit together! Don't know how to write a public comment? Put a few sentences into your favorite AI and workshop it! If you need extra eyes, DM me! Not sure what District you're in? Check here: Find My Voter Registration Let's do this: Who can make Monday and/or Wednesday next week and bring their comment?

A flyer from the Mesa County Democrats announces the 2026 caucus on March 7 from 10 a.m. to noon, with registration from 9 to 10 a.m. It explains that caucus is a grassroots political meeting where neighbors discuss candidates, help shape the party platform, and elect precinct organizers and delegates. The flyer lists multiple caucus locations with corresponding precinct numbers, provides a phone number for questions, and notes that only registered Democrats may participate. It also lists the offices on the 2026 Colorado Primary ballot, including U.S. Senate, U.S. House District 3, Governor, and several state offices. A note at the bottom explains that attendees may request a virtual option with 30 days’ notice.

A flyer for a vigil organized by the CMU Young Democratic Socialists of America. The top shows the group’s name and handle. Below is a black‑and‑white collage of many faces representing people affected by ICE. Large text reads “Vigil: Honoring ICE Victims,” followed by a note inviting people to a peaceful remembrance of lives lost in ICE pursuits, custody, and deportations, with a request to bring signs, flowers, candles, and respect. Event details list Saturday, February 14, 12–2 p.m., at the CMU Pavilion outside the University Center.
A flyer with an illustrated bird flying over stylized mountains and rays of light. Text reads “Standing with Minnesota and others on Valentine’s Day.” Below it says “Community Vigil, Feb. 14 at 1 PM,” followed by the location: outside the Lowell School building at 7th Street and Grand Avenue. Additional text says “Respect lives lost and each other.” The flyer notes it is hosted by the Mesa County Democrats.
There will be no Stand With Veterans action at the Grand Junction, CO VA this Saturday (2/14).
Two community vigils are happening that day, and you’re encouraged to attend either or both:
• 2/14 – Vigil at CMU, 12–2 PM
• 2/14 – Vigil at 7th & Grand, 1 PM
Your weekly to-dos 1. Tell your Members of Congress: Stop the ICE terror machine. Congress is scrambling to pass a DHS funding bill by Friday, and we need to make it loud and clear that our senators and representatives must oppose any bill that hands ICE and Border Patrol more funding or fails to include strict safeguards to protect our communities. Use the link above to email your Members of Congress, then be sure to call your senators during business hours. 2. Join this week’s virtual training to learn practical, actionable lessons on organizing against authoritarianism from Minnesota’s resistance against ICE and CBP. Organizers in Minnesota have transformed crisis into action and tragedy into solidarity. On Thursday, Feb 12 at 7pm ET, those organizers and MN leaders including Rep. Ilhan Omar will share what they’ve learned so we can all be better prepared to organize amidst crises and protect our neighbors from ICE and Border Patrol deployments. 3. Call your representative and tell them to oppose new voter suppression legislation modeled on the infamous SAVE Act. Last Congress, we helped defeat the SAVE Act, one of the worst voter suppression bills in a half century. Now, a series of bills with the same impact (ending registration by mail, adding new ID requirements that could prevent millions of eligible voters from registering) could get a vote in the House this week. Make sure your rep hears from you before the vote. (More info here.) P.S. The announcement of our first slate of endorsees means Indivisible’s 2026 election work is officially underway. We need your help building a better Democratic Party during the primaries and then organizing toward a historic wave in the midterms. If you can, chip in to help power our election ground game here.

Mobile pantries are seeing a 25% attendance increase and Western Coloradans are facing hunger rates at the highest level in more than a decade.
Your weekly to-dos 1. Email your Members of Congress to demand investigations into Hegseth’s murderous strikes in the Caribbean and Pacific. Despite increased scrutiny, Pete Hegseth and the Trump regime continue to carry out lethal strikes on small vessels without any legal rationale. More background on these extrajudicial killings of over 80 people can be found below. 2. Pledge to get involved in our largest primary campaign ever. We aren’t going to defeat fascism with a politics-as-usual approach. So we’re gearing up for a massive primary program to put forward a new wave of candidates who can win at the ballot box and in the battle to defend democracy. We need door knockers, phonebankers, and savvy online communicators on our side. Sign up, and we’ll be in touch when our program officially launches. Until then, you can learn more about our plans here. 3. Answer our one-question survey to help track the impact of the Cancel Spotify campaign. Indivisible and allies have been calling for a boycott of Spotify until they stop running ads recruiting for ICE. We can’t very well count on the platform to tell us how many people have canceled their accounts in protest of its participation in Trump’s brutal deportation machine, so we really need feedback from our movement. You can learn more about the campaign here and help spread the message using this Spotify Wrapped-themed toolkit. 4. We’re stronger when we organize together. Join a local Indivisible group today. It’s resolution season, and if one of your goals for the new year is becoming more engaged in your community and doing more to save democracy, it might be time to connect with an Indivisible group near you. P.S. It’s end-of-year fundraising season, and while we try to keep our fundraising asks to a minimum, we do have about $615,000 to raise before the end of the year to prepare for midterms and support Indivisible groups on the front lines of the fight to save our democracy. Chip in here, if you can, to help…
Indivisible Weekly To Dos Dec 8 2025
Your weekly to-dos 1. This is the final day of the We Ain’t Buying It economic black out: Avoid shopping at Target, Amazon, and Home Depot this Cyber Monday. Today closes out the busiest shopping week of the year, and we’re going to continue demonstrating the consumer power of the pro-democracy majority in this country by withholding our dollars from companies that are complicit in Trump’s authoritarian power grabs. (If you're having trouble with that link, try this one.) 2. Experienced phonebankers needed: Let’s get out the vote for Aftyn Behn and flip TN-07 blue! Tonight is our final phonebank for Aftyn Behn, a former Indivisible organizer who could score a major upset in Tennessee's deep red seventh district. A win in tomorrow’s election would narrow the GOP House majority to a sliver and send a powerful message to the Republican Party about how politically toxic Trump’s agenda has become. Note: Our phonebanks are normally open to all and start with a training for new phonebankers. Tonight we have a limited number of households remaining to be contacted, so we’re skipping the training and suggesting that only experienced phonebankers join (we wouldn’t want anyone to go through the entire training and then discover we’ve run out of numbers!). 3. Take your activism to the next level by joining a local Indivisible group. It’s resolution season, and if one of your goals for the new year is becoming more engaged in your community and doing more to save democracy, it might be time to connect with an Indivisible group near you. 4. Support immigrants under attack this Giving Tuesday. We normally don’t include fundraising asks in our weekly to-dos, but with the Trump regime escalating its attacks on immigrant communities, we want to encourage this movement to support the Defending Our Neighbors Fund. The fund helps individuals and families caught up in our increasingly draconian immigration system get the legal assistance they deserve
