... maybe I lied about that being all the art I post today, here's my Revolutionary Girl Utena themed throwing axe

Okay enough art, time to show off the time I hit a bullseye behind my back when I used to be a professional axe thrower
I've spent the last two years writing and storyboarding I Fell In Love With A Body Snatcher, a transgender lesbian sci-fi action romcom! Finally using #IndieAnimationDay to start talking about it for real. Stay tuned for more info, casting calls, etc.!
It is still technically #IndieAnimationDay so I should probably actually tag that
"I Fell In Love With A Body Snatcher" is an upcoming indie animated feature film about a transgender punk musician racing from New Mexico to LA in a stolen hearse with her best friend and the evil alien soldier who tried and failed to take over her body, all to save the world from an alien invasion.

Digital art of two women, one is pale and has blue hair, the other is Black with dreedlocks tied in a bun and wearing goth fashion. The art is framed like a selfie in a bedroom.
More I Fell In Love With A Body Snatcher art. Adeline and her best friend Jane. Jane absolutely posts this to insta with the caption "how tf is this bitch and Actual Rockstar™️ but she doesn't know how to take a selfie"
Art of an anthropomorphic boar woman at a bar
Another old artfight thing, don't do a lot of anthro stuff so this was a neat challenge
Art of a vampire girl who has black hair with a red streak in it. The art is framed like a selfie with her looking into the camera
Did this one back during artfight. Fun rough piece of a friend's VTM character.
Little animated self portrait thing I did to experiment with some limited animation ideas.
Art of Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune from the visual novel We Know The Devil
Three worst girls since eve. Little experimental wktd fanart. I like the textures in this one.
Art of Heather Mason and Shimizu Hinako from the Silent Hill series standing back to back with metal pipes in their hands
Some silent hill fanart from a few months ago. Gotta love girls and their pipes.
A sad looking half orc boy with a book
A witch with a big hat and a long pipe
An anxious elf holding a large book
A smiling half orc girl with a large hammer
Some little NPC portraits from my own D&D campaign
More art of characters from my spouse's long running TTRPG campaign, downtime in a fancy rich person's house in between crazy magic adventures.
Art of a pink haired, blue skinned alien woman pulling a human woman with blue hair by the wrist through a southwestern US desert landscape
Already set this as my header but it's a fun piece so I might as well post it on its own. These are the main characters of I Fell In Love With A Body Snatcher, Adeline and Antimony. The wide format of this one was weird to work with but I'm pretty happy with the results.
A girl with angel wings sitting on the floor of a public bathroom. In front of her is a pile of bloody body parts. She has an eyeball in one of her hands. Text bubbles read "Thank you for the information... It was far more valuable than I expected."
Little doodle of my character from the TTRPG campaign my spouse has been running for +10 years
Art of a pudu (the world's smallest deer) in a teacup
Pudu in a teacup that a friend paid me to draw
Little style test for figuring out backgrounds for I Fell In Love With A Body Snatcher. I took hundreds of reference pictures around Silver City, New Mexico where a lot of the movie takes place.
A night elf wo.an smiling on a purple background
A man with orca markings wearing round sunglasses and a knit crop top
A purple haired character with glasses wearing a kimono and holding a red watering can
A gray haired, gray skinned tiefling character holding a bottle of hot sauce with an own on their shoulder
Some portrait commission samples. had a lot of fun with these, always love interpreting other people's OCs
I've put off posting art on here for years now, I guess it's time to finally fix that.
It holds up pretty well! There's a bit in the middle where they introduce a character who's from the wonder swan games and kind of just expect you to know who he is but otherwise it's a pretty tight story for the kind of show it is.
Tamers is written by the same guy who wrote Lain and touches on some similar ideas but even Konaka admits that Tamers is mostly him looking at Evangelion and saying "damn I wish I made that." Lain is still probably better overall because it's more focused and doesn't have the kids show baggage.
It costs money to hire people to make animation. Collectives and partnerships are a nice idea but people need to eat and staffing up a production of dozens of people for several years of work without investment is simply not feasible. If you have money it's a great plan but everyone is out of work.
