From my experience commissioners very much get discouraged when they submit form after form and get no response back. Like they’re doing something wrong or their ideas suck etc etc.
So I kinda get the attempts to circumvent the form to try and get a slot directly…even if it’s a bit egoist of them
I’ve had people completely lose interest when I mention submitting a form for any artist. But when I mention I already got a slot or that an artist is FCFS for openings they reengage and we end up working with them instead
I think it’s because ur moots don’t like the uncertainty of being selected?
