This is miraculous. The survival rate for pancreatic cancer is (was) dreadful. I have lost beloved people to this, and this gives me such hope that we don't have to fear it as totally.

Been watching Invincible from the beginning, and then hearing what happened and how people are reacting from the latest episode. Like... trauma level nerd reactions.
Yes, I read the Cliff Notes. That's messed up.
There is only one person who can get Bluesky working again.
After this week, I needed this bad.
What a shame.

I don’t know about you but I’m craving Nutella on toast all a sudden.

Welcome back, #ArtemisII !!!!!
A starfield filled with thousands of stars and shining clouds of dust. The Milky Way\u2019s elegant spiral structure is dominated by just two arms wrapping off the ends of a central bar of stars. Spanning more than 100,000 light-years, Earth is located along one of the galaxy\u2019s spiral arms, about halfway from the center. Credit: NASA
OH. MY. GOD.
THIS IS THE MILKY WAY SHOT BY THE ARTEMIS II CREW. LOOK AT ALL THOSE STARS!!!!
Deep mood.
[alt text by NASA] The Moon, seen here backlit by the Sun during a solar eclipse on April 6, 2026, is photographed by one of the cameras on the Orion spacecraft’s solar array wings. Orion is visible in the foreground on the left. Earth is reflecting sunlight at the left edge of the Moon, which is slightly brighter than the rest of the disk. The bright spot visible just below the Moon’s bottom right edge is Saturn. Beyond that, the bright spot at the right edge of the image is Mars. Credit: NASA
Whoa 🤯
The Moon, in full eclipse, with the #Artemis II Orion spacecraft. Part of the Moon and spacecraft are lit by Earthshine, and both Saturn and Mars are visible to the lower right. Incredible. Details: images.nasa.gov/details/art0...

Earthset from Artemis II. I am overcome.
This is the face of a lunar scientist who has just been told that the #Artemis II crew saw SEVERAL impact flashes (the flashes when meteors hit the lunar surface) in real time 😃 🌓💥
Stop. Look. Breathe. This is Earth from space. Our pale blue dot. Long years since we've seen it from this distance. All our troubles, foibles, and suffering cannot compare to stepping back and knowing where we are in this vast universe. #ArtemisII #weregoingbacktothemoon

Incredible footage from a United Airlines flight of the Artemis II launch.
Reminded of this classic:
NASA astronaut Leland D. Melvin with his dogs Jake & Scout.
He had to smuggle them into NASA-JSC for the photoshoot in the back of a van.
Clean launch. Good luck, #ArtemisII !

Pray for me. I’m ordering fiber Internet for my condo.
Yanked this from Facebook and I can’t remember who did it.
My spleen hurts from laughing.
Blood donation servers and feeling a pound lighter. :) #wondercon
Took me a few hours sitting in my spot to finally see cosplayers. A Sith and a Ghostbuster walked by me. #wondercon
