Successfully testing the final level. Took some hours to convinced myself it was possible. My very small game of Sokoban is almost complete. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Feeling like a responsible adult having published my first real maintenance update to Pinout, a Python package to help document electronics. Recently passed 400 stars on GitHub too! #electronics #Python
New main character has arrived. Forward progress on my little Sokoban project feels good. #gamedev #pixelart #scifi
Might have finished designing the hero of my little Sokoban game. Not perfect but total overkill for requirements.

Work in progress on some game graphics: Sci-fi themed Sokoban. I have some other ideas brewing too but aiming to publish a little demo game onto itch.io as a project milestone. #pixelart #gamedev #aseprite

KiCad version 10 is out today! Lots of features, lots of speed. We hope you like it. www.kicad.org/blog/2026/03...
Working on some goggle designs at the moment. This is version 2 which I'm very happy with, mostly because they work and don't look like a prop outta the Flintstones. Critical failing on both count of version 1 π. #3dprinting #prusa #blender
Very happy to announce the winners of our demoscene competition! π
We had some amazing entries - check out what can be done in just a few square microns of silicon!

I'm so atproto brained I keep thinking if enclose.horse had syncing with my account I'd 100% more do it daily if I could sync between my phone and computers
I made a game! Just a prototype but fully functional and ready to play for free thanks to @itchio.bsky.social π
Pondering what the next steps might be to push this project along further.

maze with two characters in it. Pixel art style.
Recycling some old pixel art to jump-start graphics for a little game I'm working on. Tech stack is #C, #SDL3, and #WASM all playing *very nice* together. #pixelart
ECS pattern, where have you been my whole life?! Currently playing around with some roguelike game programming in C. Might even finish something this time.
MicroPython v1.27 has been released!

It includes support for new micros, a whole swag of new features and bugfixes - and further improvements to automated testing, particularly by leveraging HIL.
Congrats and thanks to the #MicroPython team!

Coding some sensor firmware with ESP32 IDF took a few weeks longer than I thought it would, but finally all working (again). Telling myself the learning experience was worth the effort. #esp32 #electronics

I'm learning that every day is 'technical debt day'. It's just that some day I'm actively reducing it and other passively increasing it.

Australia has basically the same challenges around manufacturing. There is a bit of a political change here recently driven by 'supply chain security'. The changes will be generational, so no short term relief.
I've played on that platform. The world of online craft retail is brutal for makers.
I keep forgetting Tindie as an option for these types of projects. I should make myself an account there and investigate it a bit deeper.
I'd love to refine the project to a point I could distribute some!
