Snow on the peaks of the mountains in Glencoe. We are following river Etive as it meanders towards the mountains. A low hanging cloud is passing by the mountain. Pieces of the landscape are illuminated by the early morning sun, finding its way through the cracks in the clouds.

I visited Hiroshima a few weeks ago and was deeply moved by what I saw, my thoughts and best wishes to the people of the city on the 80th anniversary of the 1st atomic bomb drop on civilians.

A patch ferns bowed, burnished in a copper hue by the slow kiss of autumn, lie at the foot of a tree, with trees in the background fading in the mist.
