Tomorrow we will have our fourth Stammtisch of 2026 on board of @c-base.org
A great way to meet people from the DoD and join our efforts (e.g. the activities around dwebcamp.org)

🏕️ The venue of DWeb Camp 2026 is very special 🌱
We are going to Alte Hölle because its community shares our values and our mission to collectively build infrastructure that truly matters, for everyone! 🌻

Find me at @swapfest.berlin @c-base.org today to swap electronics and to discuss a new, sovereign, private internet. It's possible. #reticulum

Berlin at night along the Spree river.
Some of the organizers of DWeb Camp from Alte Hölle, Department of Decentralization and the Internet Archive came together at c-base in February to plan for July.

How do you build a better, more decentralized web? 🌐
In Berlin, technologists, artists, and organizers are coming together to co-create #DWeb Camp 2026—rethinking the internet from the ground up.

🏕️ How DWeb Camp is being built in Berlin 🪩
🛸 One month ago, we boarded @c-base.org and started the incredible journey of bringing DWeb Camp to a new continent!
Our Wendy Hanamura wrote the story of what happened, sharing the path leading us and @dod.ngo to Alte Hölle on 8–12 July 🏕️

See you there! Get your tickets now for this summer's event and submit your proposal to make it an awesome event.
If you've been to our events, you know the energy we bring. Now picture that in a forest.

So let's go camping! Join us July 8-12, Alte Hölle in Brandenburg, for five days of hacking, conversations, art, and community under the theme “Root Systems”. Root Systems invites participants to build technologies that – like living ecosystems – adapt, regenerate, and endure.
The DWeb Camp is coming to Europe for the very first time and we didn't want to miss the chance to get hands-on inolved. Our orgs share many features: We both exist to foster the open, permissionless internet, so this partnership was a no-brainer from the start.
You're probably thinking: Wait... last year was Protocol Berg so this year should be ETHBerlin right? Wrong. Hackathons are our favourite type of event, but this year we wanted to take it to the next level. (And that's not to say neither will happen again).
Big news! We are excited to announce we are teaming up with the Internet @archive.org to co-organize the @getdweb.net DWeb Camp 2026 just outside Berlin this year. Will you go camping with us?
Tomorrow we have our next stammtisch on board of @c-base.org - a good way to meet people from the DoD and other humanoids in a relaxed atmosphere and get involved in our activities - e.g. this year things we do at @getdweb.net camp dwebcamp.org

Implemented #Meshcore repeater for a native Linux target, so you can run it on a Raspberry Pi with no external hardware requirements, only a LoRa hat.

We used 3D printed stencils to assist solderimg the radials to the SMA connector.
The lenght of the antenna was trimmed until we hit exactly the 868MHz mark, even though they were fairly broad band.
25 people attended and used up 20 antenna kits for 40 antennas.
Not all antennas were pretty but they work very well.
We soldered ~40 antennas (868MHz) with ground-plane radials at the Berlin Chaos Mesh meetup at @c-base.org yesterday. It was a lot of fun and the results were very fine-tuned antennas for #meshcore #meshtastic.

No one should have to submit to invasive surveillance practices to access the resources they need to survive and thrive. People should be raising hell about this! www.stoponlineidchecks.org
Don't forget the Berlin Swapfest #5 is coming soon.

The @getdweb.net planning unconference by @archive.org and @dod.ngo on board of @c-base.org started. Lot's of great people around. Beautiful weather (so we will do some sessions outside at the river).
The @getdweb.net Camp Unconference day at
@c-base.org just started! Excited for a day of co-creation and to be supporting the camp happening in Berlin via the @dod.ngo this year! 🏕️💚
