Did China or the NSA hack your router?

Check your router. It’s the only way to really know if it’s an Autobot or Decepticon in hiding.

The long-form video about evaluating routers for normal people is up.
The goal is to give you a way to inform yourself outside of the "F.U.D.-o-sphere"... just made that one up now myself. 😁

I find it difficult to reconcile the prevailing online sentiment that government surveillance is an threat to free expression yet algorithmic manipulation of free expression by private corporations with capability to control global narratives and influence people’s actions isn’t a concern.
Your home router is vulnerable and might be surveilling you.
Run this Nmap command, drop the results into an LLM, and make an informed decision about what comes next, including whether it’s time to leave stock firmware behind for OpenWRT, DD-WRT, or another open-source alternative.
Remove the space between the comma and “vuln” damn autocorrect!
Run this Linux command targeting your own router and see if you're still not convinced you need to switch to OpenWRT...
nmap -A -p- -T4 --script=default, vuln X.X.X.X
X.X.X.X = Your Router's IP Address
You may need to install nmap: sudo apt install nmap
Explainer/demo video coming soon!
Here, something fun and random because sometimes that’s what we all need 🤓

Routers are not dead, just use OpenWRT and repurpose your old routers. You can even mesh them and do VPN split-tunneling with Wireguard and OpenVPN.
PCAP your current router running the OEM OS. I guarantee you won’t be happy with what you see.
Cameras show what was seen. RF aggregation can help show what was present.
Here is the full video showing step-by-step how to make a Raspberry Pi-based device that logs nearby radio frequency activity to add another layer of home security.

Most of the time “agentic” really means “We blindly use a ChatGPT wrapper.”
Be cautious when incorporating unproven external technology into your enterprise at scale.
I've been telling people to make their own routers forever. If you'd been watching my videos you'd be unaffected by the FCC ban on foreign routers :)

I’ve been trying to launch a “Made in the USA” router for years. Maybe now I’ll get some traction?
DM me if you want to collab on it! I have the schematics and just need some Gerber files.
Hey friends, I'm looking for a publicist with experience in Spanish-speaking markets. (U.S. and/or abroad)
Any referrals would be greatly appreciated.
I think it's time to expand my speaking engagements and podcast appearances!

Sí, por supuesto que hablo, leo y escribo español.
The "code" for my Frequency Identification Raspberry Pi (FI-Pi) is up on GitHub. Working on a GUI to show status data using the official Raspberry Pi screen.

Want the ability to randomize Wireguard configs on boot and at specified intervals? Can't so that with LUCI. You need WIRE HARD! It's in my @github repo.

Updated my WIREHARD repo on @GitHub to support OpenWRT 25’s move from opkg to apk.
WIREHARD randomizes WireGuard servers on reboot and/or at preset intervals for OpenWRT.

The internet is increasingly a scripted environment.
Fake engagement. Fake personas. Fake consensus.
Bot farms, SIM farms, click farms, & AI are shaping what people think is real.

Iran could use your radio frequency emissions to drone strike you…or your competitors could use them to detect discord among board members on their way to a pivotal negotiation.

When something bad happens, you’ll wish you had RF telemetry not just grainy video.
This isn’t “Big Brother.”
You control the logs.
No internet required.

Recent events are a reminder that cameras only capture part of reality. Signals can help tell the rest!
I just released a full walkthrough of my Kismet-based open source RF collection platform so you can log the wireless environment around you even if you have zero experience.

The "new" Ring feature from the Super Bowl ad was sooo surprising. If only someone had made videos explaining how this was already happening at a much larger scale by nebulous systems most people aren't even aware of. 😐

*No AI was used in the making of this awesome post 😎
Green Day has played the Super Bowl, I’ve played with Green Day so technically via the transitive property, have I played the Super Bowl? 🤓😄🎸

Stop buying “solutions” to problems you don’t have from companies that rely on peddling F.U.D. to survive.
The guy you cut off in traffic isn’t going to use a drone-borne cell site simulator to deploy Pegasus-like malware, he’s going to look up your address using your plate and a data broker.
Wanna hear me rant about stuff? You can try to catch me as I run to make my connecting flight at a random airport… or you can check out this event 🤓

OpenAI incorporates ads? Shocking! If only someone had been warning about this for years 😅🤓

Do not connect a Roku to a RaspberryPi running OpenWRT & run tcpdump. Definitely don’t leave a job running in the background for a week and then analyze the PCAP focusing on traffic being sent during times when you’re NOT actively using the device.
You won’t see anything fishy or unsettling at all.
