Honestly I don't see why it couldn't. An event of this size would probably be easy to just like dedicate a PC or two to showcase the game of each indie game.

Or just have the devs bring a laptop to show it off themselves. It would be easy to do I think.

Especially if it just is one more thing

Maybe a fest or camp type thing? Idk.

You'd maybe need a larger venue but realistically just offering the game and not worrying about a stream would be easy enough.

But I think something where the cost is joint between more groups of people would be awesome.

Small PlatFighter games should all come together once a year and host their own small version of Smash Con.

Nasb, Rivals, Fraymakers, Rushdev/Icons, Flash Party, Slap City, AFQM. Pooling the resources and try for like 100-200 entrants would be lit. Id love something structured like heatwave is.

What's the point of switching to Bluesky when it supports ai, crypto, and all the same stuff as Twitter when Twitter has all the users still.

The average user who wants to support Bluesky is just ignored via tone deaf ceos and leaders.

Not entirely on topic but I wish people understood that a lot of what "agents" supposedly do would be almost trivially easy if these companies just had open APIs like they used to! Instead we're burning the planet so LLMs can crawl through websites and apps, its crazy!
