im glad you enjoyed seeing it hands on. i think framing and compression really made it hard to tell how pretty it is moment to moment. theres fore sure some minor stuff i miss. it changed kind of a lot since even october in some places. like rock faces got a lot more defined which had to grow on me.

the flatcolor feeling is still present. i like the toony look it used to have but im honestly in the camp that the changes are careful and minor. i will say i think they specifically might have made this guy's orange more red tho(?) its kind of fucking with me i wish i could break nda lol

theyve gotten rid of the flatshading, and the runners have a threaded material sort of texture in certain areas depending on the material theyre going for you can see if you zoom in. i think the new shaders have made the primaryness of the colors kinda more situational. theres fs neutral areas where

the high lighting green clip they use for the sidebyside is also highkey one of my least favorite weather scenerios outside of how it looks in a few areas im kind of crossing my fingers they have the time to give it some more love theres a few spots where it looks kinda funny.

thats fair the flat stylized shaders were very cool i do wish they were able to keep that feeling more intact. im a nda nepobaby and im of the opinion that it actually isnt very different outside of certain weather scenerios where things like the values are a lot more noticeably dipping to black

i swear when you traverse different lighting scenarios it makes a lot more sense

genuinely incredible level of dedication to the bit.
