How many Doctors now have long Covid and why aren’t the BMA calling for preventions? Preventions will stop this cycle. We must start preventing long COVID. Very disappointing they aren’t doing this.

Incredible that the BMA want financial support but aren’t calling for preventions. Surely this is fundamental in medicine? Why not! And this essentially a huge problem for patients. The P word has been forgotten.

I see folks saying well Preventions are costly but not as costly for our economy as treating millions more for chronic illness for many years. Where is the logic in this? We must as a country return to thinking longer term because longer term long covid is going to be an even bigger problem.

There seems to be this ongoing trend to only talk about treatments but not preventions. It makes zero sense.

Yes of course Doctors need support but we also need to prevent more staff from becoming ill.

3 weeks since the Covid inquiry stated #Covidisairborne

Which one of these folks knew it was even airborne?

Were they given any advice to prevent infections?

We have a slow moving economic disaster here.

Also no action on Covid. Removed more vaccines than the Tories, moaning endlessly about sickness and disability when we have millions of long covid sufferers and zero preventions. We are currently spending £8 billion annually on long covid. Not one peep out of Labour on Covid.

Palantir’s deranged manifesto shows why it should be nowhere near our public services.

This is not a normal company, it's Trump's favourite tech firm and a danger to our NHS.

“Palantir’s manifesto, which embraces AI state surveillance of citizens along with national service in the USA, is either a parody of a RoboCop film, or a disturbing narcissistic rant from an arrogant organisation,” said Martin Wrigley, a Lib Dem MP & member of the HofC science & technology SC

Iran vows retaliation after U.S. ship seizure and says 'no decision' yet on new peace talks Follow NBC News live coverage of the U.S. seizing an Iranian ship, Trump's blockade and the Strait of Hormuz, peace talks in Pakistan and Israel-Lebanon.

Peace isn’t looking likely. Trump has succeeded in damaging the EU economy which I’m sure was a goal.

Middle East crisis: ‘Highly unlikely’ Iran ceasefire will be extended if no deal reached, Trump says US delegation expected to leave ‘soon’ for Pakistan peace talks even as Tehran’s attendance remains unclear

Not much chance of Peace with Trump in charge. Best start preparing for food shortages, further economic damage in the UK & EU.
