It gets lost in these discussions that technically, FY26 didn't really begin until the first CR was passed in Nov 2025, and that those funds were never available to fund projects. FY26 funds were not set until January 2026, and full budget authority was not available to NSF until mid-April, 2026.

Lots of cool work being shared in the @amermathsoc.bsky.social accessibility call. Of course, here's my favorite. PreTeXt.Plus

Faculty and students can now create a pretext.plus account without needing an invite when they use their .edu email address! We'd love your feedback at the #pretext-plus channel of mathtech.org/chat!
Sending the follow-up without the attachment too adds and additional dimension if you want a new challenge :). Not that I would know firsthand...
Screenshot of a browser window with an interactive graphic. At the center is the Earth. The Moon is in the upper right, with the line of its orbit drawn across the screen from right to left. A loopy blue line leads from the Earth to a point further along the Moon’s orbit in the upper left, and back to Earth. A circle on the blue path is labeled “Orion”, which is the name of the spacecraft for the Artemis II mission. At the bottom of the screen, four dials show the mission elapsed time, Orion’s velocity, its distance from Earth, and its distance to the Moon.

While they wait on a fix, they could start a 'Is OneDrive the same thing as SharePoint and if not, why not' discussion.
Wait until they try to use Teams.
Adding a tweak to this: email them and ask for a 30m online chat. Phone calls can be hard sometimes but scheduling a meetup works too. If you're thinking about an idea, write up a 1-2p pitch and include it.

For people who actually want to know what senior military education is, and what places like the Naval War College does, here you go. Written last summer by current faculty:

Due process violations don't get worse than this. Appalling stuff from Virginia State, every administrator involved should lose their job
It was a lot of fun building this tool! Something that can help faculty with a small but tedious step in preparing an NSF grant proposal: the conflict of interests spreadsheet. Drag-and-drop simplicity ftw 🚤
#rstats Here's a useful guide to creating publication-ready #ggplot figures to journal specifications, which is often quite fiddly.

Hi Bluesky - I'm Massachusetts' Attorney General. You might know me from suing President Trump nearly 50 times, beating Uber and Lyft in court, or being the first woman of color elected to statewide office in MA.
I officially left X today - help me find my MA people?
Starting to seem that destroying massive amounts of US infrastructure and governance by wishcasting may not actually be all that effective from either a policy or results perspective.
THIS IS TODAY! I AM WEARING A “rage consumes me” sweatshirt with a cute kitty in the flowers.
Here's your chance to share your thoughts on the 90,000 sf ballroom.

I’m pretty sure you all needed to see this video of a baby manatee with its mom.
