Not to mention the soundtrack is a Masterpiece all of its own. It's an incredible work on its own, perfectly matching the tone and emotions of the story at every turn, but then you consider how it was on the GAMEBOY ADVANCE with over 300+ songs. It is a technical marvel for the console.

It manages to carry to the mother series trademark quirky tone and humor, while perfectly juggling its heavier themes. Themes of loss, grief, and political corruption, all presented in the most outlandish, absurd, yet emotionally poignant way possible.

It might be silly to post smth like this, but fuck it.

Mother 3 turned 20 years old today and there isn't a single other game that has had a more profound impact on me. It's not a perfect game, but it is my favorite.

I wish it could get officially translated someday so more can experience it.
