I really like the gradient tool in Aesprite as a compromise between traditional and modern approaches. It gets the job done without expanding the color palette to accommodate the mid tones

I have a problem with the lyrics to Crazy Train. Train lines are named for where they go. The Crazy Train would take you to Crazy. If it's going of the rails that means the train wont make it to Crazy, and the passengers will stay sane. Going off the rails on the Sanity Train is the REAL problem
