Update: this is going well. Finished A Ship of Bones & Teeth by Karina Hale - a dark retelling of the Little Mermaid. Wasn’t bad.

I can’t breathe out of my nose. So naturally I’m reminiscing on all the times I could brief properly and took it for granted. 😂

So far so good! I’m reading about mermaids and enjoying myself.

I want to get more into fantasy!

Determined to step out of my comfort zone this year by reading books I wouldn’t normally read as well as writing books I wouldn’t normally write.

Why does January always feel 45 months long?
