A finale curtain call for Billis. So much spirit & spook of other Billis stories whilst remaining focused on it's new lead characters. A group of actors reunited to perform, creepy goings on, another tightly woven character piece.

Continuing Doctor Who S21 with 'The Awakening' after seeing Warriors at the BFI.

I know nothing about this one, never seen it, it's very odd so far? I think I'm enjoying it but I have absolutely no idea what's going on? The locals are a bit weird.

If you aren't drinking all beverages out of this not at all unsettling vessel today you are not a proper Doctor Who fan.

Just saying. You can't argue with the rules.

All new Matthew Venn on the way this October from @anncleeves.bsky.social ! ๐Ÿ“š

Looking forward to where this series goes next for Venn & the team, it feels like it's been a while since the last visit, time flies. Question is... Who's in a tricky situation this time? ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿชฆ

Living in the North we don't get many Doctor Who stories set locally - but Dracula originated on my doorstep so it was nice to be able to do this! ๐Ÿ“š

I needed to put up a fight with the wind to get this snap ๐Ÿ˜‚

Reviews are on pause at the minute whilst I get my life together but I have fitted in some @bigfinish.bsky.social when I can.

These two are my 2026 highlights so far! Cloud Eight is superbly written & floor 13 is a great celebration of Norton Folgate.

This has to be a new record for me, picked up for 50p from a car boot mere months after first publication!

I live not far from Whitby, the stories location, so was actually intending on tracking this title down anyway.

Absolutely love how Ol'Sixie has been incorporated into the design. Peter remains the focus but Six gets nice rep on box, booklet & discs AND 'Twin' has a new documentary. It doesn't just feel tacked on?

Six feels a very much part of this so now all 80s docs have 3 sets each ๐Ÿฅบ

"C.S. Lewis meets H.G. Wells meets Father Christmas - that's the Doctor."

This week of all weeks feels fitting to share my recent photo with Mr David Bradley - A gentleman! Very glad to cross paths with him again.

Probably my favourite new BBC show since Ludwig in 2024.
Beautifully produced, heartfelt music, a fantastical tale of Grief, friendship & a good laugh too. I'm not one for "binge" viewing but I was so taken by this story I finished it very quickly.

Highly recommend.

Replacement Cybergene discs have arrived from @bigfinish.bsky.social ๐Ÿ˜

I've not got round to this one yet so glad I get to experience the story with the now amended, varied, cyber-vocals.

Ryan Aplin's cover artwork for The Death and Life of River Song: War Widow, featuring River Song in the centre of a futuristic corridor, pointing a laser blaster. Behind her is the Eighth Doctor, holding his sonic screwdriver aloft. Behind the pair of them are Daleks in space and a planet.

Travelling back home from London, One of the loveliest moments from Comic Con Spring yesterday was seeing the continuous line of fans for @manningofficial.bsky.social at the autograph table.

A joy as always, the perfect ambassador for the show.

Looking for some Belinda episodes from season 2 on iPlayer.

Silly me was looking under the 'Doctor Who' collection tab when I should have been looking under the other 'Doctor Who' tab... Could be worse, I could have been scanning through 26 seasons under the 'Doctor Who' tab.

Feel insanely lucky to have witnessed Jodie Comer herself performing 'Prima Facie' last night.

This production, it's story, has captivated me for years. Watched the cinema screening multiple times, stream version & the book but seeing it with my own eyes? INSANE!

For those who enjoy The Ninth Doctor 'Cloud Eight' released today, there is so so SO MUCH More to explore in these 4 really impressive TORCHWOOD stories.

'Grey Mare' is one of the best hours of @bigfinish.bsky.social - recommend all of these.

Really looking forward to hearing how this series continues!

Watch my discussion of volume 1 here: youtu.be/eGiA1vxJZ-I?...

Including a particularly impressive, traumatic character piece from Lauren Mooney & Stewart Pringle. A really bold piece of drama

Tegan!
A visibly different destroyed dalek, new accessories and an episode-specific background for the box. This is the type of set I'm easily happy to spend ยฃ44.99 on with that balance between collectors level niche but a sprinkle of play value too? Very FP exclusive in spirit.

Doctor Who Charity Shop find:
Two 1995 'Missing Adventures books! I don't actually think I've ever seen a book from this line in the flesh outside maybe conventions? So a nice unexpected find.
