I am finally reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and it is I kind of…. shit. I guess the LitRPG genre is just not for me having never played an RPG. I find it all just a silly and contrived, with a boring linear narrative. I’m half way through book 1. Does it get better? Should I persevere? #booksky 💙📚

Couple that with a built in tool that makes migrating data from one PDS to another, much like you can move your mobile number to a different mobile network. The process for migrating our data between one PDS and another needs to be standardized and made as simple as possible so that anyone can do it

Imagine if hosting providers had a simple one-click-install for a @atproto.com PDS much like you can install Wordpress with one click. Somewhere between fully hosted on your own server/VPS, and hosted with Bluesky, there needs to be a “data hosted by trusted provider on my behalf” solution.
