friendly reminder that blueskyweb.xyz is somehow an official domain that bluesky will use to email you.

like, i’m not being funny or anything that is literally the domain they use for all of their official email communications.

company name + “web” + “.xyz”: the pinnacle of trustworthiness.

Your Creative Cloud All Apps plan will be renamed Creative Cloud Pro and will include all your existing benefits, along with a wide range of new benefits explained below. This will happen at your upcoming renewal. Creative Cloud Pro will cost US$69.99/month (plus applicable taxes). Your subscription will automatically renew monthly on 05-May-2026 (PT) until you cancel. As always, you can manage or cancel your plan at any time via your Adobe Account or by contacting Customer Support.

An email from Vercel, my previous hosting provider for some stuff, titled: "Approaching your limits: Upgrade now to avoid service disruption".

The email, which was received at 8:33 AM, reads:
"Your site is growing!
Your free team limes-inc has used 75% of the included free tier usage for Fluid Active CPU (4 hours).
If you exceed the included free usage, your projects will be automatically paused. You can also upgrade to Pro for more included usage and the ability to pay on-demand."

Today, we're excited to introduce Attie, currently as an invite-only closed beta. Attie is the first agentic social app on atproto. It's something completely new — an experiment in making building on the protocol more accessible.

The Future of Al Should Serve People, Not Platforms

Al has begun to reshape every part of our digital experience. I keep coming back to Kranzberg's first law of technology: "Technology is neither good nor bad; nor is it neutral. " Its impact depends on how it's used, by whom, and for what.
Bluesky's mission is to develop and drive large-scale adoption of technologies for open and decentralized public conversation. I wrote that into our founding charter because I believe the internet should be built to serve the people who use it.
Right now, Al is undermining human agency at the same time it's enhancing it. The proliferation of low-quality Al-generated content is making public social networks noisier and less trustworthy at a time when we need accurate information more than ever. The signal is getting harder to find exactly when it matters most.
The major platforms aren't trying to fix this problem. They're using Al to increase the time users spend on-platform, to harvest training data, and to shape what users see and believe through systems they can't inspect and didn't choose. We think Al should serve people. not platforms. An open protocol puts this power directly in users' hands. You can use it to build your own feeds, create software that works the way you want it to, and find signal in the noise.

As a small publisher whose professional life has already been disrupted multiple times by the avarice, caprice & sheer idiocy of the tech industry, I can't tell you how excited i am to learn that I'll likely have to decamp to yet another online space soon if I want to scrape a living

Cheers Jay!

ok yeah i lined them up and attempted to recreate the edit, they're DEFINITELY the same stock bunny pic. the only parts that don't line up are its posture (as previously mentioned) and its nose, which was slightly raised in Badge Arcade (easier to see up close)

i only spend time on important stuff.

PRINCESS PEACH: It's time to show them that we're more than just pretty faces, right Rosalina?

ROSALINA: You know it, Peach! Move over Star power, it's time for Girl Power!

CHRIS PRATT: When I heard about Charlie Kirk, I didn’t know what to say. Every interaction I had with him, he was a veritable ray of sunshine. I still remember sitting by the lake, tracing reeds across the water’s surface and promising that those beautiful days of summer would last forever

Scott McCloud "Explaining Comics" panels where one is himself in a cartoony style and the second is in a realistic style, In the first panel he says, "That's why I decided to draw myself in such a simple style." In the second he says, "Would you have listened to me if I looked like this??"

The first panel has been edited to be labeled "DLSS 5 Off", the second edited with "DLSS 5 On"
