Washington State defeated Toledo 28-7 Saturday at Gesa Field in Pullman.

While Washington State faced Toledo on the field below, seven kids began swinging their shirts in the upper stands of Martin Stadium. The small group grew to hundreds cheering on the Cougars with chants of “U-S-A,” “Go Cougs” and the infamous unsavory salute to their cross-state rivals.
