The Advisory Circle - Mind How You Go. Ep. A classic in the Hauntology genre. If you're British and you remember obscure themes from 1980s TV shows and public information films, then this is right up your street. If you're not British its still cool.

Le Butcherettes - A Raw Youth. Mexican punk band. Lead singer Teri Gender Bender, is an absolutely mental performer. Also in Crystal Fairy, which i guess are a super group, made up of The Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover from Melvins.

The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main St. Their best album and one of only two of their albums i have. The other is Beggars Banquet. I'm not particularly a Stones fan but I do like both of the aforementioned albums.

Depeche Mode - 101: Live at the Pasadena Rose Bowl. Great album. Hadn't listened to it for years. While it is a good album, the recording isn't great.

Cannibal Ferox Original Score. 70s funkiness with a side order of synth. Movie is, at best, ok with large swathes of boredom thrown in. But I do like the fact it would be a BBFC edit nightmare. I have no idea which cut I've seen.

Gil Scott-Heron: The Revolution Will Not Be Televised. Unfortunately it will be. It will be corporatised and sold back to us as key rings, rubber wrist bands and phonecases.

INXS - KICK. 80s classic and as far as I can remember by far thier best. Side B is not as strong as side A. When I was a youngster I thought Michael Hutchence was the coolest man alive.

Kramer - The Guilt Trip. Mark Kramer from Bongwater first solo album. Excellent album that comes in a cool box. Mine is a bit battered because its the original from 1992. Got What I Deserved is the best track on the album. Proper depressing.

The Black Angels - Passover. Black swirling and clear vinyl. This is an absolute fucking belter of an album and by far their best. If you've not heard it, you must give it a listen. Psychedelic rock excellence.

St Germain - Tourist. The opening track Rose Rouge is an absolute belter, sampling Blue Note classic Marlena Shaw's Woman of the Ghetto.

Goat - World Music. Great album but the most annoying cover ever. Getting the dust sleeve in and out damages the cover.

Aphex Twin - Classics. Reissue. It's great to see Aphex Twin's back catalogue being reissued. It means not having to pay silly money for the originals.

Polygon Window - Surfing on Sinewaves. One of Aphex Twin's best albums. It was reissued last month, which is fantastic because now I dont have to look at people trying to sell the original press for £200 plus.

Band of Horses - Cease to Begin. Haven't listened to this album for a number of years. Is There A Ghost is a fucking excellent track to open the album with.
