I don't listen to Rogan so I don't know if that fits but I listen to My First Million. Also not all hosts are male but Skeptics Guide to The Universe is a great podcast.

But the selection perfection doesn't need to be in the whole genome at once. Each gene can be optimized at different organisms or in the same organism simultaneously.
You asked, paraphrasing, if your information content is more than your genome. I think the answer is a clear yes because phenotype=genotype+environment. So the information your body contains is the sum of your genes and the environment that acted on it.
Today I had my 1st ride on #waymoxla. It was futuristic yet also so mundane that it's just another ride except there is no one at the driver's seat! Thank you @waymo.bsky.social
You're welcome. This is an interesting topic and relatively easy to intervene. That said, even though one makes changes to their lifestyle, it may take a long time to see some of the benefits due to the inertia of changing the microbiota. Best to start early in life but better late than never.
Our last paper of 2023 (or first of 2024) is out! We discussed #microbiome's effect on #omega3 supplementation in improving cognition, specifically in #Alzheimers disease.π§ͺ

Hard to type my first post. I'm glad there is a place where I can escape from X. I'm hoping blue sky will be like the good old days of Twitter.
