Projects where each step takes ~1–2 minutes often take longer than those where you "fire-and-forget" a single, thirty-minute batch script; after ten seconds waiting for the former, I've started to multitask, and I forget to come back to it until after lunch! «sigh»

[This works better when spoken out loud, but...]

I hold up two fingers and say, "Around here we have 'TOO' [two] seasons: 'TOO' Cold and 'TOO' Hot!" «grin»

And it's funny how 50°F in March feels *VERY* different than 50° in October!

Meanwhile, in the Mid-Atlantic:

I worry when I say stuff like this, that even though the chances of choking to death on a nacho are pretty small, they're not exactly ZERO, either — and dammit to hell if I'm gonna give any holier-than-thou evangelicals the mere opportunity to say, "I Told You So..."
