I wouldn’t tell you not to but unless you’re going to captain him every single week and he’s performing then it’s not worth it for his price. Especially when the mids are doing so well currently

I just couldn’t keep him any longer and keep going without Salah. It was killing me every single week. I’ve dropped from 500 down to 250k 🤪

If Haaland does find some form now and Salah loses it, I could always reverse the transfer but I’m not hopefully 😅

Is it madness doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome? - maybe.

But Salah could blank the next 2 and Haaland could get 5 or 6 goals. Who knows. I need a swing and some good luck so I’m going for it.

Salah has 2 tough away games (Newcastle and Everton)

Everton is an early kick off (which I will never captain in) - I can see a Sean Dyche Everton sitting in and frustrating them (yes, they’ve just lost 4-0 to Utd) but this is a Derby game and they’re different level.

Despite him not getting the points, he’s still been getting chances and has had good xG.

Next up is Forest at home and Palace away. 2 okay fixtures you’d say.

City have to get a win soon and Haaland has to score soon. I’d fancy it in one of these fixtures.

If I’d owned and captained Salah instead of Haaland, I’d have 122 pts more over this period and be ranked in the top 50 managers in the world.

Thoughts on this pls General:

I’ve kept faith with Haaland for weeks watching blank after blank with no Salah

My rank has now dropped from 1.5k to 17k

Is it finally time to admit defeat and jump from Haaland to Salah for a -4? Or should I show more patience in the hope that the tide turns soon?

I’m sure it will. Especially with Johnson getting benched this week. At least you know you got those guaranteed mins with Bruno

The Mbeumo to Bruno move hasn’t paid dividends yet but I’m confident it will in the coming weeks

I think it’s time to admit defeat and part ways with Haaland.

I was confident he was going to be back with a bang this week but he just isn’t doing it at the moment.

Salah and/or Saka will likely be incoming next GW

Yeah same here tbh. I played him this week too but my alternative was ESR who also blanked so not too bad.

Hoping Haaland gets something from this Spurs game. He’s gone close 3 or 4 times now.

If not, Salah’s inevitable haul tomorrow is really going to hurt 😅

I think you start Rogers if you want the guaranteed mins and small chance of a return or JP for the upside of you’re chasing a haul.

Personally, I’d start Rogers this week because that’s just my management style

I wouldn’t worry about mins. Slot has shown he’d much prefer Konate over Quansah.

I know Liverpool have City next week and Everton coming up but I’d back their defence as the best in the league. Especially with Alisson likely coming back for the City game
