I gave the whip and tongue a gloss varnish for extra grossness.

Lucius The Eternal all painted up and ready to do battle. This model is beautiful and was challenging. I owned the old metal one for years, but never got to painting it - just not inspired. But this new model is sensational in sculpt and composition. What a glow up!

Tbh im not sure yet. The board game by cmon is lotsa fun. A rudimentary wargame really, good intro, and has so many characters. The archon made skirmish wargame has much more superior model kits and looks fun, but is much more of a proper wargame. I of course needed to have both 😄

This biggun was so so much fun to paint. Had it for some years now judging me and was unsure how to tackle it and put it away. Then we got colour forge Sprays in my shop and it had the perfect shade of green.

My best thing, definitely this He-Man mini.

Yep that's it. Legions Imperialis - tiny models with might titans. It's based on the rules for Epic 2nd edition, but fully set during the Horus Heresy era. I enjoyed this game immensely, it plays very different to the larger scale games. Worth a look if you like the era it depicts.

Oh I missed these noizey bois too, painted a unit up a few weeks back. I opted for purple (naturally) for these lads to differentiate them from the pink hues of the bulk of the army - also in honor of the greatest Slaanesh champion, Prince, and their heresy roots.

New units of whirlwinds, scorpius and vindactors all ready to battle those wretched loyalists in the name of Fulgrim. This leaves only one unit till I've painted all of my Legions Astartes (essentially one of each box)... until Dec 20 when they put out a bunch more models and I'll have to buy those.

A few more of the perfect 3rd completed for my Legions Imperialis Astartes army. It's an excellent game and models. So many Emperor's Children painted this year with my 40k and LI army but so many more to go -- haven't even begun the Horus Heresy force that is waiting in shrink wrapped boxes.

After playing some excellent games of Legions Imperialis on the weekend, I've decided some reinforcements are in order. Need more pew pew for my tiny EC lads.

Another squad of Emperor's Children completed. This time it's the Flawless Blades. They are a really fun unit to paint with lovely detail and with exposed skin on the arms and midriff, make for a nice change of pace from the normal marines. Next up, the noise marine contingent.

Still painting up Emperor's Children and having a blast all the while. They are fantastic models to paint and build.

My EC scheme looking glam I reckon. It'll certainly stick out on the tables of grim dark and is easily replicable. A bit of 30k meets 40k.

Our kinda zeen

So it begins... again. My second Emperor's Children army this year, this time for 40k. Using @warhipster.bsky.social 's lovely pink recipe. I'm gonna paint them as Xantine's warband from the Lord of Excess novel, that is pink and purple with gold trim - deliciously decadent.

Painted the last of the characters I have for the MOTU game. Now there's just Castle Grayskull to go!

And with Scare-Glow painted, the entire Box of Power for the Masters of the Universe boardgame is now complete! 61 models!

I'm so pleased with how this project has come out. Each model presented small challenges to overcome, such as finding a good glow in the dark look for the models.
