Weirdly, I did nab some of their San marz maters and every single one I’ve planted has germinated. So maybe they’ll just take 20 years to germ, as peppers do.

Update: germ rates are kinda barfo but the designer peppers sure make pretty seedlings
Your garlic is looking awesome!
Happy 420 I’m in TRANSPLANT JAIL
Oooh. Depending on where you are it’s not too late! Broccoli might need some TLC in the hot weather but the rest should still yield some, albeit later!
I’m very proud of them, they look better than the veggie plants at my greenhouse day job…
SOON.
MAY.
PLANTS.

Anyone had any experience with Pepper Joe’s seeds? I’m enamored by all the different varieties, but that also makes me a little skeptical haha
scientifically accurate wolf size chart
Hell yeah!! Looking forward to seeing what you got planned
Too bad we're rolling with it. 😼
Updating things. Thinking about the future and optimistic (yet cautious) for once.
thought this was really beautiful
A logo that draws heavy inspiration from PA Dutch hex signs. Two wolves face each other while a big tomato, fennel bunch, and the sun are positioned in the middle of the sign. Green blades of grass boarder the wolves.
Like the previous one but WOLF PEACH GARDENS is on the front
I’ve been waiting to post this until close to launch, but we’re getting there…

(One of the things I did last year/early this year was trawl the big box stores for super cheap gardening and seed starting stuff. I was able to make out with a ton of pots and trays for a penny each which really gave me a leg up on basic supplies)
awright, 216+ new seeds started. Round 2 should prove more fruitful since they’re actually started around the right time lol
I’ve been playing around with soil ratios and amendments and that’s definitely an insane science I need to learn a lot more about. Been fussing with different recipes. Will see what does best!
Blank canvas of seed starting trays with mix in em. Some habenero and basil seedlings are here too
Final “I seed started these way too early and they outgrew my space” kill count: 35
Alright….lets recoup some losses. But that’s why we started so early no? Gotta get the stupid mistakes out when it’s less risky.
More maters and eggplants and peppers incoming
I’m HOWLING that last one LMAOOO
Then again the millennial thing of calling sex smex/smexy or generally calling porn lewds always annoyed me too. My hating spans generations at least
I guess it’s an unavoidable trend but oh my godddd the baby censorship ticktock speak irritates me when it’s on here. You can say piss shit cum fuck sex kill ass it’s okay the demonetization police won’t get you here, or tumblr, or discord, or-
Dude the squirrels were a MENACE this year for me, I hope you can deduce your new mystery plants
Plus it was maybe at most 30 plants vs the what, 400 I have? And have more along the way since I mixed my next batch of seed starting soil heehoo
Bootstrapping all of this so don’t have the fancy tools yet, but this year is understanding what is necessary to invest in and where the pain points are. Last year was a viability test. I proved I could do it, now to optimize it.
Was monitoring the temps during the day vs how much heat retention happened at night, and it was doing okay with holding it around 40-50*F but spiking to 80s during the day. I guess the cloudy weather coupled with the freezing night was a stupid oversight I should have seen coming.
Stupid decision cost me some plants and set back others, but now I know investing in a greenhouse heater may be necessary. Ah well
Asbestos, leaded gasoline, the divine right of kings - there's no such thing as 'can't put the genie back in the box.'
If the genie sucks ass you can knife it repeatedly until it stops bothering you. :)
The Everything turning me into a plant-based eco conscious prepper weirdo at an alarming rate
Idly looking into off-grid living does suggest “start small” so we’re already at the first step there, should things get even more complicated.
